The School of Economics and the Centre for Behavioural and Experimental Social Science (CBESS) at the University of East Anglia will be holding its annual workshop on behavioral game theory on 15 - 16 July 2021.  The purpose of this workshop is to present current experimental and behavioral research related to the topic of game theory.  The call for papers recently closed and a programme is expected to be revealed soon, together with registration information.

In the meantime, this year's plenary speakers have been announced:

  • Cristina Bicchieri, University of Pennsylvania
  • Yan Chen, University of Michigan
  • Jörgen Weibull, Stockholm School of Economics

Like many events, this year’s workshop will be held online. The general format will be a small number of relatively long paper presentations. To facilitate feedback and interaction, papers will also be assigned a discussant.  There will not be a fee for attending.

Graduate students may also be interested in UEA's PhD summer school course in behavioral game theory that immediately precedes the workshop (12-14 July).  The course is designed to provide a short introduction to experimental research related to behavioral game theory.

More details about the workshop can be found on the CBESS website.
