The student group Warwick Behavioural Insights Team (WBIT) was created in 2017 with the intention of applying knowledge to action.
On Thursday 20 June they are holding a Behavioural Science Summit at the Oculus on Warwick University Campus, on the topic of 'health and wellbeing'. It's not too late if you want to attend - follow this link for booking information (tickets cost £10 per person).
This is how Warwick Business School describes the event:
"Our speakers have diverse backgrounds, from academia, governmental institutions to industrial companies. Whether you are a Behavioural Scientist or just someone who's fascinated by Behavioural Science, this summit will be a wonderful experience for you!
The summit will provide you with different perspectives, from theoretical advances in Behavioural Science to challenges of bringing interventions to life. You will learn about contemporary technologies used to develop better interventions as well as how we can use the understanding of human biases to improve health outcomes.
We aim to bridge the gap between academics and professionals, public and private sectors. Behavioural Science Summit provides an opportunity for everyone to hear inspiring ideas, form potential partnerships, find prospective employees, and discover new trends in Behavioural Science."
