Daniel Read was a Keynote Speaker at the Cognitive Economics Virtual Conference (online 9-10 July 2020).  

The Cognitive Economics Society is a newly formed society providing a forum for the exchange of ideas, research and knowledge about cognitive economics. It aims to raise awareness about cognitive economics to both expert and non-expert audiences and across different disciplines, encouraging all to discover and further research cognitive economics.

Title of presentation "Choosing not to know, choosing not to tell"

This research explores the concept of 'moral wiggle room' and asks questions such as, 'do we hide things from ourselves?' and 'do we choose to avoid information which tells us our actions are selfish?'
