Nick Chater wrote an opinion piece in The Guardian newspaper, published online 1 April 2018. 

In the article, "A revolution in our sense of self" - it described a radical reassessment of how the mind works.  Nick (a leading behavioural scientist) argues the idea of a deep inner life is an illusion. This is cause for celebration, he says, not despair.
