Last week (commencing 21 July 2014) we were pleased to welcome Martijn van den Assem who is currently an Associate Professor in Behavioral Finance at the Erasmus University of Rotterdam, and affiliated with Peter Wakker and Han Bleichrodt's Behavioral Economics Research Group (which is an international partner to NIBS). From September onwards, Martijn will move to the Free University in Amsterdam to set up a new behavioural finance group.

Martijn has published articles in the American Economic Review, Management Science, Experimental Economics and JEBO.  He is currently editing a special issue of JEBO on Empirical Behavioral Finance and organising the first "Research in Behavioral Finance Conference" to be held in September in Rotterdam.
