Professor Bob Sugden (UEA) Co-Investigator on NIBS 1 & 2, currently ranks 2nd in the top 10% of authors in the field of cognitive and behavioural economics as of May 2019, according the the IDEAS database by RePEc. Professor Simon Gaechter (NIBS 1 Nottingham) comes in at 6th place and Director of CeDEx, Professor Chris Starmer, is in the top 25. Also listed in the top 100 are 3 other NIBS colleagues: Martin Sefton (NIBS1 Nottingham); Shaun Hargreaves-Heap (NIBS1 KCL); and Robin Cubitt (NIBS 1&2 Nottingham). There are 1030 authors in the area of cognitive and behavioural economics (CBE) within RePEc with affilations to 1894 instutitons, so being in the top 100 is a huge achievement. RePEc separately ranks institutions in this field, and CeDEx has consistently been near the top for several years. At the time of writing, the School of Economics, University of Nottingham is ranked second, with CeDEx (as a centre within the School) taking second place in 'centre' rankings. The School of Economics at UEA is ranked in 6th place. The Behavioural Science Group at Warwick Business School is not a member of RePEc and therefore not included in the listings.
