Our partner (Warwick Business School) has announced a new immersive five-day executive programme in collaboration with the Behavioural Insights Team (BIT). The programme is for anyone who wants to learn and apply behavioural science to their work and improve outcomes for others.  It runs from 11 to 15 December 2017 at WBS London (The Shard), and will introduce delegates to key principles from behavioural science and how to apply them to real world problems.

The programme will be led by NIBS Co-Investigator, Nick Chater (Professor of Behavioural Science at WBS) and colleague, Edward Gardiner (Behavioural Design Lead at WBS) with Owain Service (Managing Director of BIT) and Michael Sanders (Chief Scientist of BIT).

As explained on the WBS website; "Addressing most issues in society, from daily challenges to complex problems, requires an understanding of how and why people behave the way they do in relation to themselves and others. Behavioural science has revolutionised how we approach these problems by challenging traditional models of behaviour and providing a more realistic understanding of what drives our decisions".

Watch this video from WBS to hear more from Nick Chater about behavioural science and consumer behaviour.

For further details and to find out how to register please visit this WBS webpage.

The Behavioural Insights Team (BIT) is a social purpose company which is jointly owned by the UK Government; Nesta (the innovation charity); and its employees.  It started life inside 10 Downing Street as the world’s first government institution dedicated to the application of behavioural sciences.  For more details visit the BIT website.
